oh Pavarotti

While listening to some Pavarotti during lunch, Sarah was caught up in his tenor swaying from side to side and "da da da"ing, her brothers smiled and giggled warming the air with laughter... thanking God for the warmth of the sun, our children, and the food... I had to smile at His sheer wonder.

Joe and Caleb have been working on this little race car for a Grand Prix that's coming up...Caleb has been quite excited over the whole thing and can't wait to see how fast it goes.  It's been neat to watch him help sand it down, figure out what color(s) he wants it, and hovering next to his baba(father) as they tweek it.  

Beautiful buttered beets

It was neat to pull beets out of the freezer...not just any beets, but beets that God gave me the grace to grow.... I don't ever recall having beets before, but there's always an adventure waiting for my tastebuds. (Sorry for the blur...it was either me or the steam)
